It's a challenge for the Australian squad to break new ground.

The top summits have long been mastered.

We're talking about the team that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, along with another six T20 titles, and earlier maintained 1,294 days without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, the ones sought by the peak baggers, are what's still available for a team that has accomplished all there is.

The fact it required until Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase above 300, reclaiming their record for the highest in the women's 50-over format, is, in truth, a tribute to the bowling attack that have sported the yellow jersey over the past 50 years.

She achieved fifty in 35 balls - her swiftest at a World Cup - and her hundred in 84 balls as she punished short deliveries, hitting 21 fours and three big hits.

Once she was dismissed Australia needed 66 additional runs at run per delivery - an unconquered height now demanding an easy conclusion.

"Chasing 330 runs is new territory so I'm pleased we have the assurance to achieve that now," continued Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to do it another time but, if we do, we know we can succeed."

That comment will be the last competing nations at this championship should hear.

In recent days a belief they will win from any position has only strengthened - this success coming after win against Pakistan by 107-run victory despite struggling at 76-7 at one point.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before an encounter with old rivals England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a last-four spot may probably be guaranteed.

It was at that stage they were eliminated from the prior year's T20 World Cup in a surprising setback by South Africa - a match Healy couldn't play because of ruptured tissue in her foot as she led her country for the inaugural occasion at a major tournament.
